Luckeep M5 Max

Great bike for the money!
I bought this one for myself after getting a Luckeep C23 for my wife and now I wish I would have just gotten two of these because its a way better deal.
If you're looking for a decent bike to pedal on a budget I would definitely pick this up!

I have bought 8 or more e-bikes over the last few years and this one is way better than any. I live in a very hilly area and this bike climbs right up the hills, no problem. II's unlocked goes 36mph and is very responsive and powerful, I'm impressed!

The 1500W motor is a beast—tackling steep hills and rough terrain feels effortless. With a top speed of 35+ mph and a 48V 20Ah battery that delivers up to 60 miles per charge, I can explore for hours without range anxiety.

The M5 Max is a cool looking e-bike with a promise of high performance. However, I got a puncture on the rear 20 minutes into my first ride. The Chao Yang tires aren’t the best, and I see Luckeep does not sell replacements. Along with this, it feels as though the shimano is not engaging. Once I get through the 3rd gear, the rest feel as though the chain is disconnected. The bike is also advertised to go 37 mph - so far, I have only reached 30 mph on full throttle. I know there is a setting to unlock the full power. However, oddly enough, Luckeep advises against riding in the max setting for “safety” concerns. All in all, it’s a really great look, but execution is poor due to cheap components. From the Chao Yang tires, to the loose fitting cap over the battery, overall quality could use some improvement.

I recently purchased the Luckeep E-bike, and I have to say, it’s been a fantastic experience for the price! The assembly was straightforward, especially after watching the instructional video, the assembly took about an hour for me. The bike is a perfect fit for my wife, who’s 5’2”, and she finds it comfortable to ride. What really impressed me is the bike’s performance. I’ve been riding it with my 8-year-old daughter on the back, and even with the added weight, it easily reaches 34 mph. The power is smooth, making it great for riding around town. The 20Ah battery life is good—after a 10-mile ride around town, it still had 80% charge left, which is impressive. I love the bike so much, I want to get the 40 AH version myself.

I recently purchased the bike for my son, and he absolutely loves it! The quality of the bike is fantastic—sturdy, well-designed, and perfect for his adventures. The battery life is impressive, lasting longer than his previous bikes, which is a huge plus for extended playtime.

Last weekend, we went camping with six other family members and test-drove their modified bikes (customized with handlebars, pedals, bags, and other accessories). It was a fantastic experience. Intrigued, we immediately ordered two—even though only provided a single tracking number, the FedEx app indicated separate shipments. Sure enough, my bike arrived first (in just 4 days), and my husband's will arrive tomorrow (about a week in total). We can't wait to embark on our cycling adventures together: mountain adventures, coastal rides, nighttime stargazing rides... These past few days, while carefully studying the manual and instructional videos, I've discovered that many of the negative reviews stem from users not reading the instructions carefully. This is an absolutely excellent value, highly recommended！

I love this bike! It's definitely the best bike I've bought recently, and I can't live without it for my daily commute.
Assembly was easier than I expected. I had a few questions, but after contacting the seller through email, they provided a clear and professional response within a day. The customer service was truly excellent.
While I haven't used it much, it feels solidly built and reassuring. A single charge easily lasts me an entire week, and the ride is incredibly effortless and smooth. It's like effortlessly enjoying the wind.
Believe me, you'll probably love it too—highly recommended!

We are now the proud owners of 3 M5 max e bikes. We have gotten so many compliments from people we know and complete strangers that see us out on the road where we bought them. First off I always been the guy that wants something different from everyone else, well the M5 checked this boxed! I'm the 60 year old cool guy that rides it to work everyday. The performance of these bikes are perfect for everyday street riding or trails. We are very pleased with our purchases.
